The Type R has a maintenance required light that is
in the bottom left hand corner of the gauge cluster.
This flashes at certain mile intervals telling you that
your car needs service. What you should do is turn on
your car, then reach down with your right hand on the
right hand side of the steering wheel. All the way under
the dash there is a square button, if you get under
the dash and look it is light blue. Hold that down with
the car not running but the key turned to the "on"
position for 10 seconds and the light should shut off.
