Type R Expo 5 - Have you done the Expo
yet? Ask any of the many participants who have
come together to watch, listen, learn, and lie
through their teeth about every possible Type
R story ever created...just kidding.
Let's face it, the Type R was made to run
on a track. If you have never experienced
the true potential of this historic automobile,
the Type R Expo is your best opportunity. Why?
Because where else can you get experienced drivers
and instructors who have put the car through its
paces. Most of our instructors have their own
Type R and are experience competitive drivers
licensed with SCCA, NASA, etc.
This could be your year. We will be dividing
drivers into different classes at Mid-America
Motorsports park based upon their driving/SCCA/HPDE
{High Performance Drivers Education} experience
so that you will always be on the track with drivers
of similar talents. There is no reason to be afraid
of some dive-bomber trying to run you off of the
road.

- Length: 2.23 miles Tire-Friendly
polymer racing surface
- Width: 40 feet high-speed hot
pits
- Longest straight: 2,222 feet
"flat-view" corner stations

Hotel Info:
The banquet facility
is also the hotel facility.
- With this, we will have a 10,000 square
foot dining hall able to sit 500 people
if necessary. Additionally, we will
be able to bring a car or two into the
dining hall as there is a garage door
adjacent to the eating area.
- Less than 20 feet from our dining
hall will be a parking lot roped off
for only our attendees.
- A water source and hose will be provided
for those wanting to wash their vehicles.
- Another lot is available for bigger
truck and trailer units. The facility
is EXTREMELY easy to get to. It is very
important to reserve your rooms soon!
There are several other groups that
will be holding functions on the same
weekend.
