If you can...I would part out the ls to the bare minimum to make a few bucks and be able to drive it. use that as down payment and to reduce payments. your insurance will be a heck of a lot cheaper of you have the ls as daily driver and type r as seldom driver... having two cars dropped my insurance...

so you want to make a short ram out of your intake? I guess you can... it won't help on performance though...

All you have to do is get like an N1 exhaust to overpower that sound. I honestly like that sound because it makes me confirm myself that my intake is actually doing something!

Got the same problem! Mine vibrates around 2500-3000 rpms. It must cause a vibration at different frequencies on different cars. its really annoying, but I am sure its the cat heat shield. just to busy to get it taken care of!

For me this was actually a sad time. Hit 50k about 15k ago... I'm one of those that gets sad by puttin miles on... anyway, beautiful R! Keep her clean and stock!

I really don't hate anything about the R either, but I wish the stock wheels were like 17s or something instead... look kinda small to me, but still cool.

but, why do most jdm import cars (including the type R) have a speedometer that only goes up to 180 km/hr. That only equates to about 100 mph. why are they shown to only go that fast? Is it some kind of law or something over there? ugh.. I'm from the country, so I'm not to learned on this stuff :lol...

It seems to be coming from the cat or further down. it sounds like its right below me when i have my windows up. and it sounds like its at the tail end when i have my windows down. its crazy and annoying .

i have a 2001 type r and have an invidia n1 catback exhaust on it. For the past month or so, everytime i rev between 2000 and 3000 rpms in each gear, my exhaust makes this vibrating rattling noise thats super annoying. its only in that range of rpms though. i dont know whether it something vibrating...

Well, i talked to my distributor last night. they said that the Greddy panel was not made for a Type R, it was for a gsr, but i dont understand why there would be such a difference Anyway, they are giving me my money back. now i will invest in something that actually works on my car.
