1995 Honda Civic CX Hatch. 230whp All Motor. Mint!

Post by Ausmith »

$10,000 firm.

I purchased this car in 2003. The car was repainted in the winter of 2003/2004. The current engine was completed in spring of 2007 and has approximately 5000 miles of use.

All work was performed by myself or King Motorsports.

Basically every part on this car is new, or refurbished to like-new condition. This car is no joke and not the typical half ass fan boy EG you see 99% of the time.

Dyno chart:

1995 Honda Civic CX - Championship White
-body is straight, never had any sort of frame damage or repair
-paint is mint except for front bumper cover which has typical wear
-rear bumper is a little cripsy near the exhaust exit, can't tell unless you stick you head under the car.
-complete car w/ all fluids weighed 2084 lbs.
-Zero rust anywhere on the car, under-carriage is perfect
-Car purchased from North Carolina

Exterior
-Body matched carbon hood
-Body matched Benen carbon rear spoiler (Serial #10). You can't buy these.
-J's racing front bumper duct installed onto Mugen ITR intake
-All new moldings
-New, still in packaging, OEM front bumper cover
-Siebon SP front and rear carbon lips, not installed. Front is body matched
-New fender liners, cowl, and OE side skirts
-JDM headlights
-Vision/Stanley Amber corners
-JDM fenders w/ corner markers

Interior
-90% of interior plastic is new OEM.
-New OEM carpet
-JDM cluster
-OEM Radio block-off
-1992 dash with no pass airbag
-Momo wheel and hub
-Mugen pedals
-Buddy Club shift knob
-Mugen S1 buckets on Mugen rails
-Custom door panels with suede inserts that match Mugen seats
-Sorry no radio... you won't need music when driving this car.
-Sorry no HVAC. I do have the entire system, but opted for the lightest weight configuration.

Chassis
-All suspension arms, front subframe, front sway, and some other items have been powdercoated metallic silver.
-All new Mugen bushings
-Non PS rack
-Polished ASR rear subframe brace
-Complete ITR 5-lug conversion with ITR brake system
-1" master cylinder from ITR
-All new e-brakes lines, brackets, hardware
-Powerslot front and rear rotors
-Hawk HP Plus pads front and rear. Hawk Blue pads for track use
-Brand new Brembo front rotors, still in package
-ATE Super Blue Brake Fluid
-All new wheel bearings and ball joints
-Mugen primary motor mounts
-Enkei J10 wheels in flat black w/ polished lip. Wrapped in brand new Falken Azenis rubber.
-The Panasport custom 3 piece wheels pictured are not included but can be had for $2200 (assuming Corey still has them)
-Skunk2 Pro Series front camber, powder coated silver
-King rear camber kit
-Omni front LCAs - these things suck and I have OEM units to replace them with
-Function 7 rear LCAs
-OEM Civic Si front sway w/ OEM bushings and end-links
-ARP Extended studs
-H&R wheel spacers (5mm rear, 15mm front)
-Revalved Koni Sports w/ complete Ground Control set-up including aluminum upper drop hats (Red anno)

Engine
-GSR block w/ Golden Eagle sleeves. 85mm.

-GE head gasket
-Fully ported ITR manifold
-ITR head with full-on port. Done by Tuner Tim at King.
-Hondata intake gasket
-Bored Edlebrock TB
-Moroso race pan (the spendy aluminum version)
-There are a lot of little things that went into the engine that I don't feel like writing about. It's all documented in a nice little folder I have. An example would be that I spent about 8 hours polishing the inside of the block to promote better oil return, or port matching the oil pump.
-Custom 3-port breather system
-Mugen Intake w/ Samco arm. This is the current DC2 version of the intake modified to fit the EG
-Vibrant 4-2-1 header, w/ modified collector
-Custom 2.5" stainless exhaust with Magnaflow resonator and muffler
-Full width Fluidyne radiator w/ custom aluminum overflow
-AEM rail, regulator, and filter
-RC440cc injectors
-Hondata S100
-Toda belt
-ITR valves
-S2 Pro Series Springs

Transmission
-JDM ITR box w/ factory LSD
-ACT Prolite flywheel
-ACT HD Clutch
-Raxles Stage 2 axles with REM treatment and AntiFriction coatings. Vented boots. Shafts powdercoated silver. I've got about $1200 into these axles with all of the extra stuff I did to them.
-Clutch hard-line eliminator (-4 AN version)

I think that covers most everything, but I'm sure there are a few little things I've forgotten to list. Overall this is by far the most fun you'll have in a FWD street car and you can pretty much wave good-bye to most cars at the track (a road course, not the drag strip... btw if anyone asks me what it runs in the 1/4 mile I'll reach through the monitor and donkey punch you)

I am guessing because Clayton has been a great asset to the ITR community and he also worked for King Motorsports and they have contributed quite a bit to ITR Expo's....Or maybe he asked before posting....

Clayton, on a side note, interested in a trade for a 97 ITR?

You still working for Hayes? Hope all is well....
