Back up for sale, wicked serious this time too. Just acquired a new car and the HOA is going to send an assassin squad to take me out for having cars all over.
2001 NHBP ITR #0318
Clean title
3 owners
Original motor/trans
virtually stock
115k

asking 9900
I previously had this car posted 8 months ago under different conditions. Since then I have added 7k in mileage but I have also had a bottom end refresher done by an Acura Master Tech 3k miles ago and it is flawless... Nothing blewup but it was sucking oil and it was time for wear items to be replaced so I did it for the sake of PM work. Off the top of my head I can't list everything that was done but there was a hone, rings, rod bearings, timing belt, all sorts of seals/gaskets (have dealer receipts for all of the items purchased), a few questionable transmission bearings were replaced, fluids flushed. In addition a exedy clutch was installed (the one that has oem pedal feel, no stage 26 puck clutch). With that being said I'll be raising the price I'm asking for it a hair but still a fraction of what has been put into it since the previous posting.
The body stuff is scheduled to be corrected but I was thinking of letting it go before this is performed. My body guy (same guy that painted my 98) quoted me $425 for the correction work and an excellent price if I chose to respray the whole thing in which I'm sure could be redeemed by anybody if they purchased. I will not coordinate this work on pre-sale terms. I would consider helping out with the logistics of it after it was sold perhaps.
Unfortunately I've never taken may pictures of her, so this will have to suffice for now (it's the black one =) )
Feel free to ask any questions, my email is stevelaclair attttttt gmail or PM.

I too want one of those Tundra's. Wicked awesome trucks!!!
I take it the woman isn't as interested in an ITR anymore?
GLWS, no issues with seller at all.

She ended up getting a new Corolla anyway. Don't get me wrong I love having it for a DD but I would much rather love being able to do household shit without having to borrow friends trucks, it takes a hit on the manhood each time I have to do it. Plus I would love to be able to trailer the 98 to events that are far away so I can have a worry-free weekend and ideally I really want a 2nd R to be a dirty-title'd shitbox so I can whore it out.

I hear ya man. And really, those trucks are AWESOME. If I was in a position to buy a truck, that would be it.
I was talking to Bradstard about them a while back. He was thinking about getting one himself. Me LUBS that truck!

Yeah I've been eying them for about a year now and then even more so after we bought her Corolla. But yesterday I got to test drive the 5.7L, I was drooling the whole time.

Yeah I was searching around at carmax, it's almost pointless to buy used. They hold value like a son of a BDave_B wrote:They certainly are proud of those trucks though, even used prices are expensive!!!

we'll see, I don't think it's anything I'll move quick on. A bunch of other factors come into play regardless.Dave_B wrote:Yes sir, if I was going to buy, I'd buy new.

Thanks dabe, Well I still have the 98 so there is no need for tears. Long down the road I'd love to have a PY chitbox to abuse on the track, if only your timing was better Either way looking for a truck was inevitable.Dave_B wrote:No worries, sorry to see ya selling, but I completely understand as well.

Yeah I'm shocked on all of the bites I've got in the last 24 hours, I have it listed in a few places. The first showing will be on Friday to a NC resident who has been searching for a while.Dave_B wrote:LOL, I know of a particular one.

Sorry to all that have been looking at this, I haven't been flaking out but I have to replace a headlight in it and it looks like I'll be sending the 98 off for a bit, so once again I am in no hurry to sell as this is a very useful/reliable car.Sameer* wrote:Any pictures of the surface rust?

This is a great price. Even with the slight rust this is a quality car. The inside is in good shape, I'v ridden in this car. Steve has been in the community a long time so please buy with confidence.

You would put this up for sale before I managed to get a job. Hopefully no one will buy it before I can save up a few pennies

You have nothing to worry about, I put the sale on hold for a bit while I take care of some things that came up I'm sure it won't be back up for sale for a few more months. This car is too dependable in the mean time, plus the lady is highly attached to this one, not stoked on the fact that it will probably be replaced with a giant Tundra haha.zeroroot wrote:You would put this up for sale before I managed to get a job. Haha cool. I had a good interview this week, so hopefully sometime in this week coming I'll find out if I got the job. If not I got a contract opportunity but its not as good pay and not permanent
