FS: 2000 Acura Integra Type R
I am Selling my Black 2000 Acura Type R (Badge # 00-0088). The Car runs great and is fun to drive. I don't have any time to enjoy it any more. I have a family now and they come first so I figured some one else can enjoy it. I have owned it for 3 and a half years and basically replaced everything I could before I got my house. After I got my house it has pretty much just sit in the garage. I do drive it atleast once a week to work that way it don't just sit but I didn't really want to rack up the miles on it. The Car its self has 120,000 miles on it and is in great condition. Motor was fully re-built at 109,600. So roughly the motor has 11,000 miles on it. Transmission is original LSD with no grinds and shift perfectly. The car has been in no accidents and has been well maintained. I am asking 12,500 OBO. Every part I own for hondas will go with it, since I don't have the time to mess with it all anymore. There is more new parts and extra parts I just cant remember right off of the top of my head. If you have any questions feel free to call or text (812-521-4063). I am bad about hearing the my phone ring so just leave a message and the chances are I'll call back soon. Thanks.

Car looks great, and well maintained.

Who rebuilt the motor? You say it was bored? What, .025 over? Were OS pistons used?

LMAO I did. And yes just enough to clean the walls. Didn't want extreme stuff done just strong parts. Not as much on speed as I am reliability. But I bought the car with a bad motor and had to rebuild it. Number 1 cylinder was shot and bearing spun.

So, did you bore, or hone the cylinders? There is a difference and is why I ask.

Did a machine shop do the machine work, or did you?

Sorry lol it got bored to 81.25 or something like that (don't remember its been a few years since i studied all of that). I paid for that to get done by a pro that builds dirt track latemodels for all the rednecks that live around my area. He bored my block, gapped my rings, cleaned both the head and block, and checked the head for leaks for my. I just assembled the block my self (with the great help of a factory manual from the acura dealership). I probably could have gotten all that done for free at the machine shop I used to work at, but when it comes to machining Id rather someone do it that is used to doing ONLY motors their whole life.
