Re: Computer, PDA, cell phone and other tech question thread.
I'm stumped...
I DLed a movie, it not working with VLC media player. I read the note that came with the DL and it says "This torrent has been compressed .
In order to get it working go to http://www.xy7compiler.com and install the compiler.
Decompile the torrent and enjoy it! "
So I go to the site, click DL and then my computer has a big warning pop up from windows defender. "Severe Warning" and shows a trojandownloader bla blah blah.
Ok I know that's no good... duh.
But here is my question, how do I decompile and watch the DLed movie?
I just looked at the properties, its a AVI file. Now I'm confused.
I tried all of my media players, and none will play it.
By the way the movie is "Appaloosa"

LOL, haters. How long have either of you actually spent using it, and which model?Bbasso wrote:Iphone= steamy load of poo.
I switched from a Treo 650 to an iPhone when the 3G version came out. Since the 2.1 software update, I have nothing negative to say about it.

Give me a REAL keyboard, not a touch pad...
That and the volume of the ringer
Both of these issues being on the first released model... I have no experience with any after that.

I've had a BT GPS device for a while now, but just figured out how to get it to work with the laptop...
But Google maps says I have to have a subscription, well F' that.
Anyone else have an idea to get this working with a map?
Here is a screen shot of it working.
