Semi-OT:Any former or current ITR owners buy an Elise/Exige?

Post by p nut »

I am extremely interested in purchasing an Elise or Exige. I have only sat in one, not test driven it yet. Anyone care to comment on the car? I wish that they would come with a K-series rather than the Celica engine. But RWD, super light, good power/weight. Seems like it's a nice track car/weekend play thing?

if you can afford it and throw practicality to the wind, do it. my next car is an exige s! everything about those cars is soooo right.. kinda like the ITR. it's a natural progression :)

I looked into an Elise at the MAC Auto Group in Columbus, OH a couple of years ago. Very nice cars...but, I just could not fit in it! LOL! I'm 6' 2" tall and I felt like my knees were in my armpits because...well...they basically were.
