Yeah my wallet is pretty thin to, but if I camp all I have to pay for is the 7 tanks of gas I'm estimating I'll need at $40-45 a pop and food.

I don't want to blindly invite people without Steve's consent, but I have no problem sharing the room with others to keep the cost down for everyone. I'l openly volunteer to sleep on the floor.

Chris- FYI it costs money to camp.

Yeah, I'm lucky on the gas. It's only about 1 - 1.5 hrs usually. However, that weekend will have more traffic I imagine. I'm guessing you don't know what car you'll driving up yet.

Understood.

I was humorly hinting that I believe our room is at full capacity. However, at this rate, the room will cost $2 per person. hahaha  I'm just a long for the ride and think more the merrier!

<--Will sleep anywhere with a/c, no cap on schlongs.

Yeah I think it was $35 or something like that last year, which isn't much at all.

Well I know it won't be the ITR since thats sold, so more than likely I'll be driving my TL and it gets horrible gas mileage. I'd love to get it sold and pick up the S2k before Expo but thats unlikely.

Its just me and Nate driving up, picking up Nolan on the way, and there's only room for 2 in the GSR as you know. If there were more people going, I'd ride with someone else. :(

I guess once people post some feedback on firmer numbers for the hotel rooms, I'll probably contact a few of you...

Well including tax, it was 112.50 or so per night. Cut that in half again for another person, or in thirds for a couple more, etc. That is the going rate of the hampton (http://www.itrexpo.com/lodging.php). It sounds like that is where the majority are staying (at least those staying in hotels).

Cool. Well I guess I'm willing to room with whoever if you already have a room. A bed would be nice, but not absolutely required on this one. I can always pack a sleeping bag.

Since I'm going by my lonesome, there is a 2nd queen bed up for grabs, and I don't know if the rooms have couches or not. The more the merrier/the cheaper the betta!

All that being said, I don't know what the official Expo stance is. We were discussing it at one point, and I think Jay got busy with other stuff.
Yea I know you are right....I just didn't think I could get the roll bar in time....but I did! So I'm doing it the right way now - Kirk racing roll bar, my omp seat, passenger corbeau fixed back seat, and 6 point G-force harnesses for both. The only thing I'm missing now is the roll bar padding. Hopefully everything gets done in time.....can't wait to bring out the ls beast! haha

I don't remember the context of all of this, but in short ...

- harness = rollbar/rollover protection = fixed-back seats -

It's all or nothing with those. It needs to be the same safety setup for both sides too unless you're solo in Adv. or something else like that. I'm guilty of breaking that rule years ago as I had SRDs with a rollbar at one point.
