Yeah but I don't have the vector image.

Mike had them made the first time and should have the image still.

Ahh gotcha, either way that's not something hard to obtain. I suck at illustrator but I'm sure I can find somebody to do it for $20 if mike doesn't have it anymore.

Welp, due to stupid shit happening at the body shop, this is my new list...

The car as she stands now...

What happened...

Image

Basically, the exhaust cam gear key seized to the cam gear and then sheared off from the other half of the key that was in the camshaft itself. Thus, the motor cut out. My friend at the body shop did a compression test w/ the best intentions before determining the exhaust cam failed...

If the motor is not in running condition by COB today (6/30), it's not makin it to Expo... I'll make it out regardless, especially since I'm payin' for Sunday's banquet!

Here's the to do:

- Double check for any additional debris in cylinder head
- Install spare exhaust cam
- Re-align timing belt, cams, crank
- Valve lash
- Compression test the car
- If bad compression, pull head
- If good compression, continue w/ below

To do before expo:

- New calipers all the way around
- new front rotors, new pads all the way around (Carbotech XP-10 fronts, Stoptech rears)
- Driver's side axle rebuild
- Axle seal replacement (both sides)
- Adjust V-bands on vibrant to help prevent sway bar / muffler contact (really annoying BTW)
- replace rear, driver side LCA shock bolt (seems to have come a bit loose and seized in that position)
- brake fluid flush w/ Motul RBF600
- get car back from body shop
- take car to vinyl guy
- get car back from vinyl guy
- drive to expo :) (after packing, of course)

^^ honestly, it was probably just shitty luck. Boost adds stress to the motor, so maybe it was time. I dunno. But, I am glad it happened here and not out there. Even if the car does go, i will be bringing a spare head, HG, etc. just in case!

I did the 3-stage port (JDM length) last year.....should be good for fast revving.
I'm just worried that my 175/65 tyres are too big for my stockers.. :(
