So I know this may be a "n00b" question, but in a lot of the pictures I've seen from the expo, there is a lot of blue tape involved. lol Is that anything important for the expo or just having fun??

The blue tape is generally used to mask off parts on your car that you don't want to get hit with track debris. But you can use it to express yourself, all the way from spelling expo with a heart or drawing penii.
