I was curious if fishing the lake is possible, being like a mile away. I'd love to fish it, anyone a local there??

Just heard thru the grapevine that Mike will not be at expo... So there for no fishing, at least with him.

duh! yes, the rumor is true.... I will not be attending, neither will tina or jen :( It's a bit of a long story but this the best decision, right now it's not feasable to spend a lot of money and drive 12hrs just to party, that money is going to a machine shop on monday ;)

I am more bummed than you guys would ever know, as some know i had so skip last year due to my stinking wedding, and the year before my trans locked before I could get out on track.... so, next year is a 110% go for me.

Damm, I still owe daveB a kick in the nuts for busting my balls that time over posting about my stolen ITR :P

There's always next year fellas... i'm in the same boat as opie, it's not the best choice right now, unfortunately....

So, if anyone needs my hotel rooms, they're yours. 2 rooms in "the" hotel, prime real estate, PM me if you want 'em :D

Yes, there's fishing.

The website for the South Haven Visitors Bureau is http://www.bythebigbluewater.com (Gotta love that URL!) Click on Attractions, then on Fishing.

Other area attractions include wineries (Fenn Valley in Fennville to the north, and St. Julian in Paw Paw to the south), the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners (just past Kalamazoo), and strolling the resort/shopping towns of South Haven and Holland.
