traded my type R for a 2003 SRT-4
yup, i traded it. the managed of the auto place REALLY wanted my car and gave me above trade in value, the trade in value i think is 9 grand. anyways he offered me 11500. And then with that i got the 2003 Dodge SRT-4. I also ordered a Mopar Stage 3 turbo kit with turbo toys, and soon the Mopar catba...

Re: oil leak that cant be found?
i was looking at my exhaust and it turns out i have a Type 1 Racing exhaust. from what ive seen its a pretty decent exhaust. I took some pictures of my DC sports header, it has this bandage around it. why would these be there unless it had problems? http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc134/teddyblan...

Re: oil leak that cant be found?
no its on the upward side of the hood. it collects there in streaks. the header i have is a very old DC sports one, it looks rusted as hell and has like this wrap around it. the header is apart of the exhaust right? its the exhaust manifold if im not mistaken. i like the way my car sounds so if i go...

Re: oil leak that cant be found?
okay finally took it in to get it checked, as i guessed it is burning oil but they said its just the type of engine, theres nothing wrong with it.
the only problem is when it burns oil, it leaves a black residue on my hood, what can i use to remove this from my hood?

vtec controllers?
now ive seen these for sale, apparently u can choose the crossover point for when u want the VTEC to engage, normally it does it at 6000rpm in my 2000 ITR but with this controller i could make it around 3000rpm? now is this a good thing? for some reason i have a feeling that it is NOT good for the e...

Re: oil leak that cant be found?
it took 3 quarts of oil to get back up to the 2nd dot on the dipstick. so if bbasso is right 500 miles per quart is about right. i took it to the exxon service station and of course they are closed, so i made an appointments for thursday. but if bbasso is riight (cuz this car DEFINATLY sees alot of ...

Re: what does stock JR supercharger mean?
how much whp would i expect with those changes? and did u say i could get all that for 3500? that sounds very unlikely at least to the sources ive seen. hondata s300s are around 1000 dollars alone right? how much is the GT28RS turbo? Also i saw a place that had the GT28RS turbos and it had 2 options...

if i got a JR supercharger and a Hondata s300 module, instead of taking it to a mechanic. i was wondering if a member of this site might come down and help me install it. id really love to learn how to do it and have a buddy alongside showing me how to do it, i could probably pay the person some mon...

well i was also considering these. but isnt the gas pedal a little small?

but if i took it to a mechanic he could just replace the pedals right instead of just putting the new ones on the old ones

Re: what does stock JR supercharger mean?
id REALLY love to get the JR supercharger for that extra 58 whp. and low RPM torque, but i dont want it if its gonna lower the life of my car. from what ive read it wont affect the life of the engine at all. The only changes i wanna make to my car are to put the supercharger on it, get it tuned with...

i dont think they are clip ons, i think i have to drill holes in my original pedals, is that possible? to drill holes through metal pedals without having it clamped in position? ill post a picture of the Sparco pedals that will be used.. http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc134/teddyblank33/titanmot...

just got some new pedals
for some reasons i guess my slippery ass shoes or the worn down old stock pedals became to slippery. so i ordered some Sparco grip pedals. They look like they just bolt on. But after looking at the stock pedals i cant figure out how to get those pedals off. Do these go on top of the stock pedals or ...
