Re: JRSC

I ditched the JRSC. I was not very pleased with it.
It had a horrible fit on my motor and kept going through belts like there was no tomorrow.

Im pretty sure you will pass 200 whp with aem ems, hytech header, cai, exhaust, cams valve springs and retainers. With a good tune i believe you should exceed 200 easy. That is a little too vague. "Cams valve springs and retainers".... There are several different cams that you could go wit...

it's not only about what was taken off, but what is going back on. :)

reringing the motor in about a week.
as long as the bearings are still good I don't see any major problems.
Doing timing belt, water pump, gaskets, and other maintenance at the same time.

The S300, as well as any Hondata system will run on either the P06 or P28 ecu (as well as several others). Many people use the P72 ecu from the gsr's so that the knock sensor can still be used (and a gsr obviouslly has vtec). The P06 operates exactly like a P28 when it is chipped and has the vtec co...

Andrew, how often do you work there?
I will be calling tomorrow because I need some parts. You guys offer an ITRCA discount? :P

Re: WTB: hondata s300

im looking for hondata s300 plug and go ready ecu for 2001 Won't work for your stock ECU. You will still need a P28 or P06 (or other similar non vtec ecu's) P28 ecu's are VTEC. They came out of 92-95 civic ex's (VTEC motor). The P06 is the non vtec ecu out of same year model civic's. And Hondata do...

it all depends on what you want. Not necessarily in power as all reputable engine management systems should result in the same power possibilities. Useability and offered features will determine what you will want to go with. Most expensive but love it - Hondata S300 Cheapest but not as easy to use ...

Here's my Dyno as you can see the solid blue line is AFR, the graph indicates it's around 12.0:1 @ 2200RPM, 10.4:1 @ 3400RPM, 11.8:1 @ 5200RPM, and gets richer at 5300RPM with 10.? AFR, I think it's not consistent (not tuned). Is anybody in this forum has basemap of Hondata on 8psi of boost that I ...

ELD is electronic load detector. It is built into the underhood fuse / relay box by the battery. I don't know why he disabled it. You can enable it, upload the changes and see if u get a CEL. Should not cause u any problems one way or another. By having the secondary tables unchecked, the map is sli...

It's Mustang Dyno, Is there any more tweaking on the calibrations I should be looking at? My tuner is telling me that he's not comfortable going to the maximum power for the reason my knock sensor is disabled, 11.8 A/F ratio and on the VTEC is at 10.? A/F ratio. I think you got ripped off MAJORLY. ...

I just had mine tuned and it only made 205whp@8psi Revhard Kit Stage II. Bone stock motor, 2.5" downpipe to catback exhaust. Is this good or bad guys? first of all my tuner is not familiar with Hondata S300. On what kind of dyno? If that is on a dynojet then I think those numbers are low. If t...

The packing material was a joke... Fed ex envelopes stuck on both ends... No peanuts in the box or anything to surround it and keep it from banging around. I know UPS requires at least 2 inches of packing material around each side of the product being shipped to be covered under insurance. I suspect...
