Re: Expo 11 - Possible Event Location

Also, those interested in shipping a car: I do have decent discounts through my SEMA membership... If you'd sport some stickers on the car, I may be able to get decent pricing for shipment. I'll be examining this myself in a few weeks to see what kinds of rates I should expect. I will whore myself ...

Re: Expo 11 - Possible Event Location

I wonder if we could lock in some really good rates with a shipping company? Anything over 5 hours in the R is exhausting. no interior, no radio, no air, no cat, tons of engine bay heat, tons of unburnt exhaust fumes, i couldn't physically do it. I was recently talking about planning a west coast tri...

Re: Driving Gloves?

I'm thinking about snagging a pair of these: http://www.soloracer.com/safequipglove.html They're made of Nomex and they're on sale. Not a bad price. No need for that Nomex though, it would just be wierd if your hands were the only part of your body uncrispy. I will use some Home Depot Firm Grips :D...

you must indeed try them on.

i like my pumas alot. combined with my suede wheel, i need to barely touch it to move it. no white knuckles here. you have to finesse it like a fine piece of ass.

Re: Has anyone engineered cooling ducts for front brakes?

eh, haven't noticed a difference, but they are also only plummed to the forks. so it directs in the general area. i spent too much time making a stupid little bracket to keep the hose out of the way on the driver side. until i make something that directs air into the rotor veins, i would say its not...

Re: what does stock JR supercharger mean?

in the context the OP put it in they mean "stock" as in off the shelf pully and no massaging of any of the JR manifold.

so the superchager is unmodified in any way. thats how its worded.
