7 weeks post op today, Just had an ortho appointment this AM... progress = bones healing, but not quite there. Allowed to begin putting weight on my leg and transition to light walking with boot/brace (no jumping/etc) over the next 2 weeks. :o Then PT, and i guess that'll be it. Guess i'll just have to wait and see how close i get back to original abilities.

Much better news than i had anticipated :!:

Damn D, that's some savage shit. Looks solid now though. You'll never break that area again.

Physio, physio and more physio. I can't stress that enough. It is mandatory if you want full mobility again. I regret being "whatev" about it and now I lost ~20% range of motion.

Here's to a full recovery  :)

Huh? All my previous x-rays were done in the ER, or during surgery, and were a new digital X-ray machine. These i had done as follow ups, and because of insurance, i had to go elsewhere, and it was not a new school digital xray. Care to elaborate?

Thanks for all the other comments guys.... can't wait to walk again.

D, I'm just breaking balls, lol./

Collimation is like framing a pic. We're taught to collimate the body part tight so as to not radiate areas that aren't of interest.
