The OT place for OGs to BS w/o BS.

Anything goes? Well, if you keep it clean and aren't obnoxious.

That is an option I'm looking at as well.

What lambchops said. I've yet to see a bodyshop that can paint a bumper that won't crack the paint the first time it's flexed.

Well the bumpers come unpainted. Mine was painted over a year ago and has been perfect. I haven't done anything to it as far as waxing or anything and it still looks good. Its definitely time I stop being lazy and give the car a good detailing. It really needs a wetsand but I don't feel comfortable doing it and neither does my painter. Since he didn't paint the car originally, he isn't sure how many layers of clear it has and he doesn't want to go through it to the base.

Yeah, the lip is also $480. I paid $395 for mine with my discount, but it was worth it. I'd rather pay $500 for something that fits perfect than $100 for a replica, then paint on something thats not gonna fit well.

'07 530xi 6spd wagon. $29,950.
The only way that would be better is if it had the twin turbo engine. Unfortunately BMW in its infinite wisdom didn't import them that way.
