What are the things I should do when buying my car? I know to check things out and stuff like that but I don't want to be missing anything out, so can someone just help me out?
I remember seeing around here, that someone asked the seller to have the dealership inspect the car and personally call them. But couldn't the seller set something up and fraud you. Maybe I'm just thinking too much.
Thanks in advance

If you call a dealer ahead of time to schedule an appt for them to do a inspection on a car for you they will (for a fee).
There are other companies out there that offer the service too.
Some of the main things that you need to check yourself are the trans; make sure it shifts without any grinds, has no bearing noise and if you can open the fill hole and stick your finger in to check the fluid. Watch out for busted motor mounts, Check the axles for noises or torn boots, and if you suspect anything is odd look at the bolts or nuts holding it and see if they have been taken off or replaced.
There is so much to check when buying a used car the list is rather long. I suggest taking a friend who is knowledgable and have him look it over while you do, two heads are better then one.
