drivin home the other day feelin good cuz i got the oil changed, found out that my only oil problem was that i race to much and use it up really fast. anyways 2 miles from my house, i go to downshity and when i put my foot on the clutch it goes straight to the floor, no resistance no pressure. and then i tried to switch gears and it wouldnt let me put it in ANY gear.

i was REALLY scared that i would have to leave my R on the side of the road, walk home, get a tow truck.

LUCKILY i managed to get it in 2nd gear and i road the last mile home in 2nd gear at 25mph. Anyways i got it towed to the mechanic, turns out it was a clutch slave cylinder. He said he fixed that then found out the master cylinder was fucked up from the brake fluid over time.

450 bucks to fix, pick it up monday. what a weekend

This stuff happens, its part of owning any car. If you ever get a chance to help a friend change out a MC on a brake or clutch you can really learn quite a bit. The slave and clutch MC parts were only ~$150 new from the dealer, cheaper if you purchase non-OEM. I myself have been having clutch MC issues all weekend. I'm going to order one today and try and do the install/swap asap.

$450 only? Maaaaaaan, wish all my troubles were that easy to fix

Sorry to hear that tho. If you ever break down, please dont leave heR on the side of the road...CALL a tow truck from a CELL phone. And if you dont have one...sleep in the car till a tow truck comes around

i was a mile from my house. my phone died literally 5 minutes before it happened. im just really thankful i managed to get it in 2nd gear and make it home.

this definatly teaches me that i need a car charger for my phone
