VIN Number Match on Engine/Transmission

Where is the VIN located on the transmission? I found the VIN for the Engine. Just wanted to see if my tranny is OEM or aftermarket.
BTW, this caR was stolen/stripped. So if anyone finds that tranny...shoot the fugger who has it.
